I was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. When I was a little over 4 years old,
my family moved to upstate New York, where I lived through my junior year in high school
(except for a stint between 1990 and 1991, during which I lived in Tennessee and Puerto Rico).
Right before my senior year in high school I moved to Sherman, TX with my dad.
After graduating from high school, I began working on my B.S in Computer Science at the
University of Texas at Dallas in 1997, but I didn't really like it there, so in early 1998 I transferred to the State
University of NY at New Paltz, a small village in the NY Hudson Valley.
Soon after I returnd to NY I started dating a childhood friend, Kristen Parkinson. I pursued my studies diligently, working jobs in retail and fast food. Then during my last 2 years of college I got an internship at Silicon Mindset, Inc. After graduating in 2001, I married Kristen after 3 and a half years of dating. We moved into a little run-down apartment in Monsey, NY and I started working full time for Silicon Mindset. We soon realized we didn't like Monsey, and I longed to return to Texas, so Kristen and I packed our things in early 2002 and moved to McKinney, TX. I signed on with B3 Online, Ltd. (my employment was later transferred to a sister company, GDSX, Ltd.) where I currently am Senior Architect. On August 25, 2006, our first son, Colin, was born. The three of us live in a small house which we share with a lazy Cocker Spaniel named Dalí. I enjoy programming, reading, listening to all kinds of music (with a particular affinity for punk and indie rock), bookstores, playing my guitar, video games (especially World of Warcraft), movies, eating, sports, and watching Harry Potter movies. I'm a Christian, and I consider myself a political moderate. |
